“Love rests on two pillars: surrender and autonomy. Our need for togetherness exists alongside our need for separateness.” - Esther Perel
What is it that draws two people together to form a romance and love? Why is it that same love often feels like it runs dry and no longer is enough to sustain the relationship. How do two people end up being in a relationship yet often feeling completely alone. How can a person who once expressed deep love for another turn and hurt them in more painful ways than ever imagined.
In couples therapy, relationships can begin to unlock those hidden feelings and learn to recover and reconcile. In couples therapy we are dealing with three different members. You, your partner and the couple. Each is valuable to the whole. In this work, you will learn a model of differentiation of the three. You will be offered a space to find healing, connection and intimacy.
